Almost all institutions will allow you to send books to an inmate. There are a few important things you should know that apply whenever sending inmates a book in prison or jail.

  1. The most important thing to know is that '''ALL BOOKS MUST BE PAPERBACK'''! The prison or jail will reject any book that is in a different type if binding, spiral and hardcovers will always be rejected.
  2. Paperback books '''MUST BE NEW''', no used books are allowed for security reasons.
  3. You cannot ship the books in yourself, they must come from a [http://www.konmart.com/zen/ reputable vendor such as KonMart].

Use our inmate mailing address directory to ship your order to the proper inmate mailing address. If you are unsure of what items can be accepted, please contact the facility. KonMart carries items that are accepted by most facilities, but individual facilities may have specific rules.
